September Students of the Month
Tri County Technology Center students, Mark Bellmyer and Ann Stanley, have been selected as the Downtown Kiwanis Club Students of the Month.
High School Student
Mark Bellmyer 
- Senior at Copan High School and a student in the TCTC Pre-Engineering program
- According to his instructor, Angela Barnes, "Mark is a natural leader to whom all his fellow peers look to for advice and assistance." "He leads by example."
- Mark was voted "Team Captain" last year by his peers for the the F.I.R.S.T. Robotics Competition
- To attend Colorado School of Mines, or OSU, and get a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural, or Civil Engineering
- To excel at playing his guitar, and join or start a Christian band
- Vice-President of Copan National Honor Society, TCTC Ambassador, NTHS member, Copan FFA, and F.I.R.S.T. Robotics Team
- Honors Received: Oklahoma Regents for Higher Education Award for Mathematics, USAA National Honor Roll, Who's Who Among American High School Students, Rookie All-Star Robotics Team member
- In his free time, Mark is active in his church youth group, a volunteer at the TCTC math and science camp, and a volunteer for Relay for Life.
Adult Student
Ann Stanley
- Ann will complete the Practical Nursing program in December.
- According to her instructor, Ruth Howell, "Ann is truly a dedicated student who wants to learn all she can about the health care profession." "She has been setting the standard for the rest of the class since she entered the program."
- To continue her education and work on her RN.
- Ann wants to set an example for her teenage daughter in academics and her personal life.
- She is a member of the Health Occupations Student Association, and class Parliamentarian.
- Ann has made a personal commitment to excel academically, to attend all classes and clinics, and to avail herself as a resource for study and participation to those in need with similar goals.
- Ann is a member of Bartlesville Southern Baptist Church. She enjoys helping with food basket, and book or other material donations/collections. She is also a volunteer for the Bartlesville Splash Club, Mary Martha Outreach, and the Bartlesville Garden Club.
