Susannah Warlick Spotlight
- Susannah is home schooled and a student in the Cosmetology program at Tri County.
- According to her instructor, Crystal Edwards, "When I think of a student who has good morals in everything she does, I think of Susannah. She is a very dedicated student and I give her my whole-hearted nomination for Student of the Month."
Goals:
- Susannah plans to work at KidDooz Salon upon graduation and would also like to further her skin care business.
- She would then like to return to Tri County in order to get her instructor's license, as well as obtain a business degree from Oklahoma Wesleyan University.
- Susannah hopes to own a full-service salon and day spa in the future.
- She is a member of the SkillsUSA student organization.
- At the SkillsUSA Leadership Conference last year, Susannah placed 6th in the extemporaneous speech category and placed 2nd in the esthetics category at the local competition. At the Leadership Conference this year, she received 2nd place in the job skills demonstration and will go to the state contest in May.
- Susannah was on the 2009-2010 Superintendent's Honor Roll at Tri County.
- In 2008, she received the International Signing Interpreter Award from the Country Gospel Music Association.
- She is the pianist for Life Church of Bartlesville's main service praise and worship team as well as, the pianist for theCause Youth Group. She also serves as a leader for theCause Youth Group and often volunteers in the nursery and children's church.
- In her spare time, Susannah enjoys volunteering at Agape Mission and the Lighthouse Outreach Center as much as possible. She has also volunteered with her class at Mary Martha Outreach and Day of Hope.
- Last August, she went on a mission trip to Cuenca, Ecuador and at the end of May, she is going to Alpha Ville, Brazil for another mission trip.
- Susannah is one of the co-founders of the Widows in Need ministry and is actively involved in the widows and single mother's ministry at her church.
