Zack Minor Spotlight - High School Student of the Year

  • Zack was a senior at Bartlesville High School and a student in the TCTC Graphic Communications Technology program.
  • According to his instructor, Susan Peterson, “Zack is driven to do his best 100% of the time. He has a service-oriented heart and declined the trip he earned to our National SkillsUSA contest in order to serve on a mission team that traveled to Costa Rica.”
        Goals:
  1. Attending Pittsburg State University.
  2. He would like to major in graphic communications management.
  3. After graduating from college, Zack wants to provide affordable graphic design to ministries.
  • Zack is president of his PM SkillsUSA organization. Last year he participated in the SkillsUSA graphic communications contest and placed 1st in the state and plans on attending the competition again this year.
  • He is a member of the professional development and community service committees as well as the National Technical Honor Society.
  • Zack is very involved in his church and participates in a puppet ministry.
  • He is a participant of Youth Leadership Bartlesville.
  • Zack has also competed in Fine Arts, a competition through the Assemblies of God, in graphic design, t-shirt design and puppetry. In all categories, he either placed 1st or in the top 3 statewide and advanced to nationals.
