December Students of the Month

Tri County Technology Center students Jessica West, Bartlesville and Tim Toon, Barnsdall, have been selected as the Downtown Kiwanis Club November Students of the Month.

High School Student

                    Jessica West

• Senior in Early Care and Education and at Bartlesville
• According to her instructor, Tara Gotwalt, she is a very well rounded young lady.  She is very loving with the children and helpful to all who she encounters.
• Goals – Further her education at OWU and work in the field of social work
  and help children.
• Vice-President of FCCLA, member of National Technical Honor Society, won 3rd place at FCCLA competition last year and Superintendent’s Honor Roll
• Volunteer – Helps with her churches food bank and in the choir.  Has also helped with the Christmas Parade and Back to School night at Tech.

Adult Student

                        Tim Toon

• Will complete the Precision Machining program in June, 2007
• Barnsdall resident
• According to his instructor, James Cowart, he is a highly motivated student.  Although Tim is only one year out of high school he has maturity far beyond his age and is already looking for job openings. 
• Goals – Join the armed forces and then attend a university and work on finishing his house.
• President of SkillsUSA
• Currently works in the oilfield and on his house while attending school.
