Applied Welding Instructor
Tri County Technology Center is accepting applications for an Applied Welding Instructor.
Qualifications:
- Oklahoma Teaching Certificate/License; or be willing to obtain.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or must earn with first 5 years of employment.
- A minimum of 3 years work experience in welding.

Pre-Engineering Instructor
Tri County Technology Center is accepting applications for a Pre-Engineering Instructor.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field required. Bachelor’s degree in Education or Engineering, preferred. Advanced Placement level science skills required.
- Hold Oklahoma Teaching Certificate in Biological Sciences, Physics, and Chemistry. The ability to receive secondary teaching certification within one-year may be considered.
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in related field required. Experience in Teaching Physics, Teaching Biology, or work experience in Civil, Aerospace, Biotechnology, Computer, Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering, preferred.

Math/Science Instructor - Tech Works Academy
Tech Works Academy:
Tri County Technology Center is seeking dynamic educators who want to be involved in creating an innovative solution to education reform. Specifically, Tri County’s Tech Works Academy will utilize several comprehensive research-based teaching methodologies (theme-infused curricula, project-based learning, targeted professional development, curriculum alignment, and superior technology) to support students’ entry into Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Programs. Tech Works will be a high school located within Tri County Technology Center.
In the 2008-2009 school year, Tech Works Academy teachers will research and develop original inquiry based curriculum. In the 2009-2010 school year, Tech Works Academy teachers will begin instruction with tenth grade students in the Academy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Hold Oklahoma Teaching Certificate in Biological Sciences, Physics, Chemistry and/or Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, and Trigonometry. The ability to obtain certifications within one-year may be considered.
- Minimum three years teaching experience.
- Knowledge of basic computer operations and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
