Beginning Grant Writing
Do you need help finding funding for your organization but you don’t have the resources to pay an expensive grant writing service? This class will help you learn where to find dollars and assist you with the language and terminology used in developing objectives and goals to assist in applying for different kinds of grants. It will help you anticipate and prepare for many roadblocks that prevent organizations from receiving money or services. Learn how to develop a business plan and a process for attempting to find funds.

Taxidermy

We are enrolling students for a “hands-on” course of Taxidermy. This class will teach fish, with more upcoming classes in game heads and life size mammals. You will learn natural habitat base work and dioramas, finish work on all specimens and air brushing. We accept ten students per session, for better individual hands on instruction. Class is taught by award winning taxidermist Richard DeMoss. Students are to bring their own fish. Supplies are furnished.

Basic EMT

The EMT is a health care professional who is at the front lines of pre-hospital medical care (fire service, law enforcement and ambulance services). This 168 hours entry-level course consists of classroom training and 24 hours in a clinical setting of a hospital emergency department and licensed ambulance service. Course work includes basic anatomy and physiology, patient assessment/trauma care including wound care, bandaging/splinting and prevention of shock. Successful completion of the program prepare students for the State licensure and National Registry examinations. Licensure is required to work as a Basic EMT in Oklahoma. Liability insurance, TB skin test and an OSBI background check are required and included in the fee.

Senior Beginning Computers II
If you are a senior citizen, this computer course is designed specifically for you. Explore what you can do with a personal computer in the “hands-on” course and discover how “user-friendly” computers can be. Welcome to the world of high technology!

CMA Refresher
Need those required 8 hours to keep your CMA license? Come and take this fun and exciting course at TCTC. This is a state approved site.

School Bus Recertification
The school Bus recertification class must now be offered as a 4 hours stand alone class as required by the D.O.T. of the State Department of Education. Topics covered include pick up and discharge of students, operation lifesaver(railroad safety) and blind spots of the bus. Students must attend the full 4 hours to receive their recertification.
