Jane Phillips Nowata Health Center

 

With the help of Tri County Technology Center's Economic and Community Development department Jane Phillips Nowata Health Center was able to take advantage of the Rural Health Project and gain invaluable training for clinical and support staff.

After a needs assessment was performed, TCTC organized classes, obtained instructors, drafted a Rural Health Agreement Grant and arranged for on-site training, eliminating the need for staff to travel and ensuring uninterrupted work-flow.

   
 

Jane Phillips Nowata Health Center employees were able to receive training in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), medical office coding and general computer support increasing operating efficiency, customer service and helping the nursing staff remain compliant in their field.

Through the Rural Health Project and Tri County Technology Center's commitment to strengthening economic and community development Jane Phillips Nowata Health Center was able to receive over 260 on-site training hours, or $8,700, greatly benefiting their organization, the community it serves and surrounding area.
