United Linen and Uniform Services

Tri County Technology Center’s Economic and Community Development team has selected United Linen and Uniform Services as the Industry of the Quarter. The recognition is a result of collaborative training between the two organizations to develop and more efficiently utilize resources.

Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Saddoris established United Linen and Uniform Services in 1936 in Bartlesville, OK.  Originally named Saddoris Laundry and Dry-Cleaning, the Saddoris Laundry acquired Tulsa's United Linen in 1970.  That is when the company took on the name of United Linen.  In the late 1980s this family-owned business began to grow by offering quality products at competitive prices with consistent service.

Today, United Linen has over 120 employees and services over 2,500 customers.  United Linen serves three states including Oklahoma, Kansas and Arkansas.

"United Linen is proud to be partnering with Tri County Tech in an effort to help maintain the competitive edge that's needed in today's marketplace," said Mat Saddoris, General Manager of United Linen.

Tri County Tech has been an integral part of educating United's employees with its wide variety of classes.  United sends employees to Tri County Tech for training in their state-of-the-art classrooms and also brings Tri County Tech instructors on-site as well.  The flexibility of Tri County Tech's staff gives United Linen the choices as to how and where their employees are trained.

Tri County Tech also meets industry-specific needs.  With pinpoint accuracy, Tri County Tech has helped shape a MVAP (Motor Vehicle Accident Prevention) course for United Linen's route drivers.  This training has helped reduce the number of accidents, promoted the safety of United's employees and protected United Linen's bottom line.

Tri County Technology Center’s Economic and Community Development team can customize any training program to fit any business need.  The training is available on-site and is also provided on the TCTC campus in Bartlesville. Routine offerings have included computer training, supervisory training and various technically based courses.
