DENTAL ASSISTING TECHNOLOGY (DAT)

Tri County Technology Center's Dental Assisting program prepares students for a rewarding career as part of the dental team. From the moment you step into the state-of-the-art dental clinic, you will experience the feeling of working in a professional dental environment. Instruction covered in the program includes content such as anatomy and physiology, dental materials, chair-side dental assisting, and front office functions. The curriculum focuses on issues related to becoming a professional and includes an emphasis on confidentiality, ethics and jurisprudence, communication skills, and overall character formation. The first seven months of the 10 month program are based at Tri County Technology Center. The remaining three months involves clinical internships at area private dental offices and clinics

How To Enroll

The program is open to High School and Adult Students with new classes beginning in August. Each class is in session for approximately 10 months. Acceptance into the program is on a competitive basis. Applications are accepted year round.
